Max 8 Brazil Help

I just got 3ds max 8 and downloaded the free version of brazil for max 8, how do i set brazil as renderer? thx

open max and do like you would to render something. there is a tab with the option to change the renderer you use...can't think what it's under right now since I'm at work and don't have Max on my computer here. Anyway...it'll say 'main renderer' and a couple other options way at the bottom of the render menu. Click on the button with the '...' and it'll come up with the different options you can use to render it with. If that doesn't help I'll update ya when I get home and can look at it if someone hasn't helped you yet it should at least get you started in the right direction for now. I'll look around online and see if i can find anything for ya too.

k ill try that and also when i open like the df or dsi scene there is a thing that comes up sayin that there are like 10 missing dll's what do i do there also

usually that means that you are missing the brazil textures or brazil isn't installed and it can't find the dlls that make the scenes chrome and what not look right.

you'll have to have the correct one installed for the version you are using...like 8 has to have brazil 8 and 5 runs off of brazil 5. if you have it installed already you might not have it installed correctly.

kinda cracked me up too but all we can talk about on the boards is the 'free' or 'trial' versions of stuff...
